Samen met William Hanna (overleden 2001) richtte hij de atelier Hanna-Barbera op, nu bekend onder de naam Picture Reticle Studios. De RDF station vervaardigde bekende tekenfilms zoals The Huckleberry Chow Read, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Scooby-Doo en Turkey en Jerry.
